Anyone take one of those Chinese knock off scooters?
Was thinking about getting a cheap scooter to exit in NH at my GF's cabin. But something to accept for a quick blast to the shop or get a quick fix in the wind with. I see the cheap Chinese scooters going for cheap $$ brand new in the 150cc size and they hitting about 50 mph which is plenty for what I want with information technology. Merely I am scared of these inexpensive scooters, are they only that? Cheap pieces of shit, or not likewise bad for a continue in the shed type of toy that volition come out once in a while.

Have Bikes inspected at these guys, i of the biggest scooter dealers in the land. Buddy seems to be the most popular, and they don't come back often with issues. They're well-nigh $i,000 less than a Honda 150.Scooters Go Green / Get Green. Save Green.

my GF has a cheap no name 49cc scooter she bought nearly new for $300 (had less than 10 miles on it), information technology easily does 40mph on flat and is downright scary on a steep downhill. Fits more in it's luggage than I can fit in the Pelican 1550 cases on my V-strom (betwixt the ii of us, nosotros can bring home a heaping grocery cart full ) It gets almost 160 mpg, when she showtime got it, she commuted back and along from work for a month and information technology died on her only curt of our driveway....... It wasn't till I asked her when was the terminal time she put gas in information technology that she said she had NEVER put gas in its tiny 0.ix gal tank, fired right up with gas in it.

Cheers simply not looking for another motorcycle, my Ducati 900ss is sitting the the shed unused for the past couple of years. Thinking the scooter road is what I desire to go on up at that place for occasional trips.

Have Bikes inspected at these guys, one of the biggest scooter dealers in the country. Buddy seems to exist the most popular, and they don't come dorsum often with problems. They're about $one,000 less than a Honda 150.

Simply took a wait at their site and the scooters they deport are not inexpensive, 2-3k for a basic scooter. The inexpensive Chinese ones I was looking at were about $800 bucks for a 150cc make new.

the drawback to the no name scooters is consistency in parts, you can have two sitting side by side that don't take the same carb, something goes s, you lot may end up replacing the whole engine

later owning my Kymco UTV, I would go with a Kymco, a little less expensive than more known name brands, and nevertheless a good parts & service network
Thats why Ill stick with a $1500 Zuma or 2k Grom any twenty-four hour period....but my vote is GROM ever LOLOL

I know, that is what got me thinking about getting one. Information technology may be a disposable scooter, only for the cost it is hard to not consider.
